We wrote this post to highlight those doing a fantastic job in the Canadian Cannabis review arena –prolific writers that are celebrated by the community. Sincere congratulations to those making this list.

BudTrendz Community Analysis – August 2025

Since legalization, Reddit has become one of the most active online spaces for cannabis conversation. From product reviews to cultivation tips, community members post daily, generating thousands of votes, comments, and discussions. At BudTrendz, we’ve been tracking this activity closely.

To date, we’ve monitored 1,247 unique authors across cannabis subreddits. Of those, 102 authors have written more than 10 posts each, the core group consistently shaping discussion. These frequent posters provide the clearest look into how cannabis content trends, what people respond to, and who drives engagement.

The Power of the Upvote

Every Reddit post is subject to community approval through upvotes and downvotes. Among our 102 most active authors, average upvote ratios range from 96% down to 67%.

45 authors stand out with an upvote ratio above 90%.
That’s only 3.6% of all 1,247 authors tracked, showing just how rare it is to earn sustained approval across so many posts.
