Top Cannabis Reddit Posts of April 2025

Each month, we scrape Reddit’s top six cannabis communities and track sentiment using a trend score made from upvotes, downvotes, and comment volume. April brought a mix of outrage and praise — the most talked-about post wasn’t exactly a fan favourite, but there were still standout products that got real love from the community.
🧾 By the Numbers
- 10 posts made the top list
- 7 of 10 had positive sentiment
- 3 posts were clearly negative
- Pure Sunfarms appeared twice, both times with positive feedback
🥇 Most Popular Post:
Piff Pre-rolls
Trend Score: 1,486
Sentiment: Negative
Reviewer: u/Future-Isopod-9175
Two separate posts tore into Piff for stuffing pre-rolls with trim, shake, and some kief. Both called the product a ripoff, and the second review described it as harsh and poor quality. Combined, these were the most discussed negative experiences in April.
🥈Runner Up:
Everest – Iced Peach (14g)
Trend Score: 1,274
Sentiment: Mixed
Reviewer: u/BadgerCthun
The top post this month came from a reviewer who was both impressed and disappointed. While they liked the trichome coverage and packaging, Everest’s Iced Peach was visibly oxidized and underwhelming in smell and taste. They blamed Alberta’s AGLC for delayed distribution and urged others to wait for a fresher batch. This is now the top post for r/CanadianCannabisLPs historically.
💯 Most Positive Post:
Sixty Seven Sins – Fishy Fingers (14g)
Trend Score: 860
Sentiment: Positive
Reviewer: u/ChernobylDrew
A flavour chaser’s dream. This reviewer praised Fishy Fingers for its consistency, potent 24% THC kick, and excellent cure. At $93 for a 14g bag, they found it to be one of the best buys of the month and highly recommended it.
🏆 Other Highlights
- Gastro: “Most recommended indoor flower” post by u/Dry_Mail_7622 earned a [9/10] and the user’s favourite strain tag.
- Pure Sunfarms: Featured twice with Neon Lambo and Kush God. Both were well-loved for their price-to-potency value.
- Simply Bare: Their Grape Cream Cake made a strong showing with praise for flavour, terpenes, and effects.
- Bleuh Quebec: Their Old School Hash surprised many, earning praise for its classic sativa high and fresh scent.
➡️ The #1 post came from r/TheOCS.
➡️ The #2 post came from r/CanadianCannabisLPs.
➡️ All remaining top posts also came from r/TheOCS.
😬 What Was Negative?
Besides Piff, these brands made the “bad” list:
- Sensi: A nightmare post by u/Sorry-Explanation578 showed 10 unusable exploded pouches and a customer service runaround.
- Holland Daze: A user was angry about buying flower from 2023 in 2025. Fair.
🎯 Wrap-Up
In total, April was mostly positive: 7 out of 10 top posts had good sentiment, but the negative reviews drew more engagement, especially when tied to bad product quality or poor customer experience.
