Hot Canadian Cannabis Products for the Weekend of September 26, 2025

Hot Canadian Cannabis Products for the Weekend of September 26, 2025

As the weekend of September 26–28 approaches, we’re highlighting the cannabis brands and products that are catching attention across Canadian communities.

This data is sourced from scraping six popular cannabis subreddits and analyzing the posts with AI to extract sentiment. Upvotes, downvotes, and comments are combined into a trend score, which we use to measure the attention each product has received. Importantly, products make the list not only for glowing reviews but also for criticism — both 🔥 and 💩 get counted.

On BudTrendz, we sum trend scores by brand so you can see what’s hot in any four-hour window. Sentiment is shown with 🔥 for positive reviews, 💩 for negative reviews, and 🔄 for neutral mentions. For example, a brand with one 💩 and one 🔥 is getting mixed reviews, while a brand with four 🔥 is clearly impressing consumers.

This week, 10 brands had trending products, with 21 unique reviewers posting their experiences across 16 products. Compared to last week, we’re seeing new entries like EastCann and BC Smalls, while some familiar names (Woody Nelson, 1964) moved around or dropped.

Here are the top brands leading into the September 26 weekend:

6. BC Smalls 💩 42

Trending Products: 1 | Reviewers: 1 | Sentiment Summary: Negative reviews pushed BC Smalls into the list this week, mostly due to trimming complaints. Despite some positive notes on flavour and effect, the poor appearance and inconsistency left the reviewer dissatisfied.

10. Vertical Cannabis 🔄 18

Trending Products: 1 | Reviewers: 1 | Sentiment Summary: Vertical Cannabis lands in the top 10 with neutral sentiment. Their SuperBoof earned praise for smoothness and flavour, but underwhelmed with its effects.

  • Vertical – SuperBoof (7g)
    Reviewer: u/MonsieurCanCan 🔄 [6]
