This data is sourced from scraping six popular cannabis subreddits and analyzing the posts with AI to extract sentiment. Upvotes, downvotes, and comments are combined into a trend score, which we use to measure the attention each product has received. Importantly, products make the list not only for glowing reviews but also for criticism — both 🔥 and 💩 get counted.
On BudTrendz, we sum trend scores by brand so you can see what’s hot in any four-hour window. Sentiment is shown with 🔥 for positive reviews, 💩 for negative reviews, and 🔄 for neutral mentions.
