This week's trending cannabis products come from data sourced by scraping six of Canada's most popular cannabis subreddits and analyzing their content with AI to extract sentiment. Upvotes, downvotes, and comments are used to calculate trend score, which measures the attention each product has received. These products appear on the list for both their positive sentiment and negative sentiment—what's trending isn't always what's good. We sum the trend score by brand and display those brands on BudTrendz so consumers can see what's hot in any four-hour period. We use 🔥 for positive reviews and 💩 for negative reviews, with neutral sentiment shown by the double arrow emoji (🔄). This week, 20 products were reviewed by 17 reviewers across the six subreddits.
