The data this week comes from scraping six of Canada’s most active cannabis subreddits and analyzing thousands of posts with AI to extract sentiment. Up-votes, down-votes, and comments are used to calculate each product’s trend score — our measurement of how much attention a product has received online.
These brands appear on the list not only for positive sentiment but also for negative and neutral chatter — because attention is attention. We sum trend scores by brand to show which companies are getting the most buzz on Bud Trendz, updated every four hours.
Sentiment is expressed with emojis: 🔥 for positive, 💩 for negative, and 🔄 for neutral.
