The data for this post is sourced from scraping six of the popular cannabis subreddits and analyzing their data with AI to extract sentiment. Up votes, down votes and comments are used to calculate trend score which is our measurement of the attention product has received. Please reiterate that these products are on the list for their good sentiment as well as the bad sentiment. We sum the trend score by brand and show those brands on Bud trendz so you can see what’s hot in any four hour period.
We use 🔥 for a positive review and 💩 for a negative review. Pay close attention to the number of emojis a brand has racked up to understand the community vibe. For example, if a brand has a 💩 and a 🔥, they received one 💩 and one 🔥 so they are getting mixed reviews. If a brand gets four 🔥, they are obviously doing really good.
