The data for this post is sourced from scraping six of the popular cannabis subreddits and analyzing the results with AI to extract sentiment. Upvotes, downvotes, and comments are used to calculate a Trend Score, which is our measurement of the total attention a product has received.
It is important to reiterate that these products make the list for both good and bad sentiment. We sum the trend score by brand and show those brands on Bud Trendz so you can see what’s hot in any given four-hour window. We use 🔥 for a positive review and 💩 for a negative review; neutral sentiment is shown by the double arrow emoji.
