Each month, we pull sentiment data from six of Canada’s most active cannabis communities on Reddit and calculate a trend score based on upvotes, downvotes, and comment activity. This week, we’re taking a closer look at which brands received the most attention in April 2025—and whether it was good, bad, or somewhere in between.

The sentiment chart includes 46 distinct brands that had enough trend score activity in April to be ranked. These are the most-discussed and reacted-to cannabis producers across Reddit in Canada.

Brands like EastCann and Everest saw the highest negative trend scores—indicating multiple reviews where things went south, especially related to freshness, packaging, and customer service.
🥇 Who Got the Most Overall Trend Score?
That title goes to Pure Sunfarms, who not only received the highest positive sentiment, but also managed to keep their negative reviews lower in comparison. Their rise was largely driven by the buzz around Neon Lambo and Kush God, both of which received strong reviews from multiple users.
